Recently I’ve been approached by a couple of customers about how to increase cell signal or boost their cell signal. There is all kinds of products that say they work, apps that makes things better, reviews that are all over the board to mostly help sell their products or get referrals. The later is true for us, but we’ll be putting our money where our mouths are.

The first cell signal booster we are going to purchase is a cost effective solution. This cell signal booster is more than 50% cheaper. I’m referring to the SureCall Flare 3.0 Cell Signal Booster.

The important thing to realize here is this solution is taking the signal from a directional antenna using an analog cable into a powered base station that is broadcasting a signal. If the signal received at the directional antenna is poor, the signal that is boosted is poor as well. In this scenario, there is little coverage on the ground and calls are dropped frequently. This sound promising if we can get some height on the directional antenna and point in the right direction.
